Happy Easter

Rev. Bret (Babailey) Resident leads the congregation in a really good service at God's House of Prayer in Second Life.  My sis Lexi tp'd me in before RL church a few weeks back and we sat through a Christian church service that was pretty typical of a RL service.  They have a beautiful church, Christian gallery, freebie area, and nice park.

Visit their web site here: http://www.houseofprayer-sl.org/ for a schedule of services including Easter Sunday.

When we visited I noted, Pastor Brett's profile states: "I was a Pastor in the United Methodist Church for 15 years.  I am currently attending and am active in a Full Gospel church.  I have been a Christian since the age of 22." He gave a dynamic sermon that day and I'm sure there will be something to offer over at House of Prayer for Easter Sunday, so if you can't make church RL, try it out in SL.

Their web site says, "The House of Prayer is a Christian church in Second Life®, a virtual reality. House of Prayer is a church where Christ is the head. We are a Bible believing fellowship of Christians who not only worship but serve our Lord in all ways. House of Prayer is place for individuals from all walks of life to come in and praise the lord in their own manner.  The church is accessible 24/7 and provides a safe haven for those that need to escape and spend some quiet time with God. House of Prayer is provided as a FREE place to be for those who wish to worship, fellowship, pray together!"

"And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. (Mark 16:2-7)" The Bible
