Spirits of the Sea in Second Life, by Storie's glitterprincess destiny

Visit Spirits of the Sea, a new exhibit by Storie's Helendale, glitterprincess destiny, at Serena Imagine Art Center on Wolves Land here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Serena%20Imagine/0/97/21
The Flickr group is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/storiesglitter/

(Huge thanks to my friend Saoirse Heart Moore, Seersha for the tip about this great place to explore)

Spirits of the Sea, by Stories
Storie's notecard for the sim states in part....

"S т σ я i є' S
just a GirL, disorganized. But always in ART.
Welcome to my exhibition " Spirit's Of The Sea"
In my imagination I felt to create the sense that spirits or ghosts who inhabit the sea with maybe a untimely demise never the less they continue with their lives as seen through my eyes... or the spirits:) I hope you enjoy it as much as i did creating it:)...
Don't be afraid to walk in the ocean you will not sink :)"

August and I immersed ourselves in Storie's cool exhibit under a troubled sky and atop and a darkened sea filled with large surreal images, 2 giant semi-transparent tunnels that gave the feel of being under water, and a variety of fun little scenic areas to play on, relax and enjoy. I forgot to add my advanced windlights, but the photos can still give you an idea how much fun we had. This is my kind of art exhibit, unique, fun to look at and things to enjoy in an immersive environment. I even purchased one of the images for my SLhome. We met Storie's and she was very sweet and welcoming and even made an image of me while I was in a tube, hanging laundry like one of the images. Poor August was attacked by a shark, but survived and enjoyed playing around in the sim too : ) This exhibit is very worth checking out. Be sure to click around.

The sim also holds some quality shopping and another cool exhibit, "The Last Voyage of Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes" by a big pirate ship and sailing type paintings by Javier (orshini.tarantal) and other areas. The sim info states: Serena Imagine Arts Center hosts new or already known artists to make people enjoying their talent.

Premium Everyone!

I'm just going to say, now is a good time to go premium folks.  I just got my first mainland, come join me.  Here are some of the premium benefits....

" Weekly L$300 stipend*
L$1000 sign-up bonus** for first-time Premium Account subscribers
Priority entry when regions are full of avatars
Linden Home or 1024m² tier allotment for use towards a parcel on the Mainland
Expanded live-chat customer support
Premium virtual gifts
Exclusive access to Premium areas and experiences
Increased cap on missed IMs
Increased group membership limits
Voice Morphing"

I love and use the premium sandoxes, even though I always have my own land.  These are full sim, often empty low lag areas you can toss out huge things or do whatever.  The people who do use them are respectful have great sandbox behavior i.e. no griefing, people go to their corners, etc.

I've recently taken advantage of purchasing mainland/tier allotment for parcel use.. woot!

I also really love the increased groups and love the priority entry when regions are full of avatars.  This is great for shopping events, busy live music events, opening days,  and other events that are busy.

If you are not premium.... just some things to consider.

Sansar and Ready Player One

I went to the theater and watched Ready Player One today in 3D Imax and LOVED it! Then I came home and popped into Sansar to see how it's going there as I heard they have a Ready Player One area.  They do, and that's cool.  I don't have VR at this point, so it's a little harder for me than some I guess.  After that I checked out the live music club "Arena", I visited the beach, then a lazer skyscraper build.  I visited the Skye forest, 114 Harvest, and Lily's Room.  That was enough for one day.  I will say Lilly's Room is very cute.. make sure you make it through the maze and seen what happens in the end.  Of course Sansar is still in the making so my av doesn't look the greatest either, but the graphics are great and I enjoyed my exploring.

If you want to visit Sansar, check it out here: https://atlas.sansar.com/
Here is their marketplace: https://store.sansar.com/

The first pics are from the Ready Player One area.

No Tricks, Just Treats at Easter Town, Happy Easter April 1

Visit Easter Town here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Townies/128/128/20

It's April 1, and I'm not fooling,  Easter Town is a lot of fun.  Ok, enough with the cheesy catch lines. I tend to blog most of Laura Liberty's seasonal sims as I enjoy visiting her fun and light hearted play areas.  Easter Town has a LOT to play on, freebies, photo ops, etc, but don't forget to be supportive and maybe buy some of her quality products for your home, self, or friends as she has some great quality decorations, gifts, play things, clothes and costumes, etc too.  Its a fun place.  My friend August joined in me and he's a good one to have around, as he was patient while I stopped mid peep race for photo ops, while racing carrot cars, riding eggs, and free bouncys, then crashed with me on the giant bunny after I'd had too much fun and treats.......and here are the pics as usual.
