Every year there are one or two builds that just WOW me.. and this is it! Looks like it was made by Walton Wainwright (faust.steameer) The Serpent. It's huge and there is a stage area for events inside the building that is impressive.


Once again the cake stage is also huge and gorgeous.
  And tonight I caught a Toxie show, which was great as always.

Extasia: Valentine's Day Ball and A Fantastic Explore Sim

Valentine's Day Ball, 2-14-18 7pm SLT with Chillee Hernandoz and 8pm SLT with Savannah Coronet.

Extasia is an adult sim with some great explore areas.  The sim info. says:  " HUGE Mansion w/ private rooms, Beach, Islands, Clubs, Undersea, Pandora and much more! Everything is Free for your use and best quality anims in SL. Come explore the sim and have a great time." 

I ran into Chillee Hernandoz and Chayla who were working on the party venue, as they have a big Valentine's Day event coming up. Laria.Lusch works with Chayla on the builds and they've done an amazing job with a variety of venues to explore and use for events, or just hang out.  It's truly gorgeous.  The sim has been around for about 10 years with some design changes, but overall same feel. They have a variety of events and Chillie and Savvy sing there every second Wednesday. Nudity is permitted on the beach and in the mansion areas and private rooms but not in the Pandora caves, gacha resale area,  and at some events, etc. but the different areas are well marked. Come on out for the Valentine's Day Ball and stay and explore this cool sim.  You'll want to take a landmark and come back often.  There are so many different styled areas, details, and things to see and do.

First of all I was amazed that I didn't recall having been to this venue before, because it's great and I'd have thought I'd have visited at some point since it's been open for 2 years the owner, Carl Wardark, told me.  But then I found several landmarks in my inventory and a few objects.. so maybe I have, and it's changed some or something.  Anyway.. it's a GREAT looking venue.  There are indoor and outdoor staging areas and a cool looking area to explore around the sim.  I took a few pics so you get an idea about it. Anyway .. they are having a huge event this weekend you won't want to miss.

Dark Moon, the Calas Galadhon's Halloween Sim Opens to the Public Oct 1,2017

Here we go again.. the greatly anticipated annual Halloween sim by Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith that is always unique and always a great explore and fun time.  I won't say much as it really just needs to be seen and explored by everyone.  These are always some of the best SL has to offer and not to be missed.  A few bits from the notes then some teaser pics.  A hint:  follow the guide persons and lights.  There are so many options, I'm not gonna lie, yes I did get lost in the lower passageways for quit some time. (again keep in mind my poor laptop is aging and wont do it justice and should be experienced in person, plus somewhere along the way my windlight got changed and I eventually noticed and put it back to the sim windlights so some pics look very diff in diff lighting) ....

At the landing grab the note card and enjoy their suggested windlights. Listen to the sounds, try all the passageways, savor it all... it's not about making it to the mothership quickly it's about the adventure. Oh, and don't forget to tip, it's worth it and we want to see these special sims continue for years to come. Thanks and enjoy.

Level One: The Cargo Ship “CS UTOPIA”. The ship is large so you’ll want to explore ALL areas of the ship. A ‘PORTAL’ to the next level is also found here.

Level Two:  The moon’s surface. Both the DARK MOON SHUTTLE TOUR & the CAVERN ENTRANCE can be found there. Arrows will help point the way. There is no Portal at this level, but the way to the next level is clear.

Level Three: ‘THE CAVERN & EGG ROOM’ the cavern is a very large one and has several levels of its own. You will want to take your time in the cavern as you travel DOWN to its floor. "

Level Four: The Mothership- at the moon's core.  Music venue and ultimate destination.

A friend, Ryde Thor, invited me to the races and I figured since I've not seen formal car racing before in SL I'd go watch him.  I'm glad I did because it was very fun to watch.  He did well Sunday and Monday and explained to me how to watch for the stats, how some of the racers texture their own vehicles, or have him or others do it for them so they can make them exactly how they want them to look, and more of the details of the races, racers, and cars. He drove one of the stock cars at the Sunday location but took two of his own cars to the NASCAR races Monday.   I was impressed with the driving and only once Sunday saw a car wipe out and another hit it, but they recovered well.  It sounds like some of the guys and gals take their racing pretty seriously and some have known each other or raced each other for a long time on various tracks.  Their racing outfits are cute .. erm I mean .. cool too  Visitors can sit in the stands and watch a fav racer or race.

Of course I'm just a spectator.  NO ONE wants to see me race.. I'd prob knock them all off the track in no time or make my car fly, literally, as I've been known to do, so yeah I'm a spectator. They go fast and hug the track well.  If I raced I'd have to name my vehicle Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and God help the other racers.

The top 3 racers Sunday were Svenja, Biller and Ryde who stood on the winner's podium.  Ryde also placed 3rd in Mondays race out of about 20 racers and he took home a nice trophy for his efforts.   The top racers Monday where:

2nd. Kim Link, -4.052 seconds.
3rd. Ryde Thor, -21.718 seconds.
