Rusty, by Cica Ghost

Visit Rusty here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kymor/128/128/25

"Rusty"; A fun place to visit this Sunday. Cica has created another little gem for us to explore filled with rusty geary almost steampunky industrial type builds you can play in, pose in, dance in and ride in. As always the set windlight is great. Be sure to walk the skywalks and get your free boxing gloves to enjoy a match with friends. The build is filled with fun creatures to look at and interact with. This build just opened Sunday Nov. 4th, so you should have time to visit yet. "Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week. - Joseph Addison"  Have fun I took pics as usual:

"The Girl Who Cried Wolf" by Cica Ghost

Visit "The Girl Who Cried Wolf" in the moderate sim of Never, here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Never/128/128/33

The sim info.simply states: "Modification of Aesop's fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf."

When I first entered the sim the large plateau topped hilly landscape with plenty of smooth boulders and flowers all around greeted me under a darkened rolling sky that was laced with lighter contrasts and some streaks of reds. I cammed around to see a huge wolf with ratlike face and ears and beady eyes, who was chasing a herd of sheep.  Of course I clicked... and rode that rangy beast.  I then visited the cottage, had a seat in one of it's two chairs and rested while I cammed some more of the landscape.  There is a giant young girl who appears to be pointing the way to the sheep and wolf for a young boy playing a flute sitting atop a boulder surrounded by white flowers. I could hear his flute in the sim music intermixed with springy bouncy sounds.  I had to wonder if perhaps he was the pied piper but then I got confused wondering if the girl was trying to show the piper where the beady eyed wolf was, so that he might pipe the wolf away from the sheep he was chasing. I mean if he is a rat wolf it's possible that piper could lead him out with his pipe and save the day!:! Right? .. But my imagination might have run away from me and mixed up the stories.  Anyway, the sim is super cool.  Cica always does a great job with lighting and sounds and making huge awesome things, some of which can be clicked on for poses, seating, dancing, and riding.  I always enjoy Cica's builds a lot, and Cica does a great job of putting out plenty of things for SL residents to see and enjoy.  This creation come just on the tail of the last, Daydreams, which I blogged here: https://karasecondlife.blogspot.com/2018/08/daydream-by-cica-ghost-lose-yourself-in.html   Be sure to tip Cica's tip jars if you can, so we can continue to get great builds like this to enjoy. Cica also has a store where you can tp and buy some fun past creations.  And don't forget to look up, as there are some fun things atop those plateau's you can click on and enjoy too.

Daydream, by Cica Ghost: Lose Yourself in A Daydream

Visit Daydream in Never here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Never/128/128/32

Cica's Daydream is filled with her hallmark whimsical looking creatures but this sim is a little more surreal than some of her others.  There is a wide variety of fantasy larger than life creations and creatures and many pose places so click on! Cica is a master of windlights and the sim music choice also matches the content well. This is a fun explore and great for taking pics.  Cica continues to impress and entertain me in SL. This is a very immersive experience and the last two images I posed in so you can see the perspective.  There is a lot more to see and if you want to see more of my pictures, click on one of these which will take you to my Flickr.  Cica's sims are always fun to see and this one has quite a variety of things to enjoy.  Happy exploring.

Sunny Day by Cica Ghost

Visit Sunny Day here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nowhere%20City/128/128/28

I haven't been in SL as much lately because it's summer and I like to get out and about more RL when the weather is nice, but I can never pass up a chance to explore a new Cica Sim. It's been in the 100's  (F) outside, but inside I can enjoy some SL sunshine in the cool AC.  I"m probably behind everyone in seeing or blogging this latest,  do visit if you haven't already, but I tend to blog things I like to keepsake for myself too. This sim is true Cica, soft and whimsical pure pleasure with her signature cats, happy Sunny skies, more moving parts that her usual fare, but otherwise done up in her same style with a few things to sit/pose on and a touring car to ride around. There are a lot of cool little creatures around  The build is reminiscent of an aged wooden toyland in many ways with its flat cut out characters, faded colors, and planked ground covering.

Cica's sim description box reads: "It is the artist's business to create sunshine when the sun fails.
Romain Rolland"  Cica has created two suns for us which don't fail to please me.   Enjoy.  I took pictures as usual.

Spirits of the Sea in Second Life, by Storie's glitterprincess destiny

Visit Spirits of the Sea, a new exhibit by Storie's Helendale, glitterprincess destiny, at Serena Imagine Art Center on Wolves Land here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Serena%20Imagine/0/97/21
The Flickr group is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/storiesglitter/

(Huge thanks to my friend Saoirse Heart Moore, Seersha for the tip about this great place to explore)

Spirits of the Sea, by Stories
Storie's notecard for the sim states in part....

"S т σ я i є' S
just a GirL, disorganized. But always in ART.
Welcome to my exhibition " Spirit's Of The Sea"
In my imagination I felt to create the sense that spirits or ghosts who inhabit the sea with maybe a untimely demise never the less they continue with their lives as seen through my eyes... or the spirits:) I hope you enjoy it as much as i did creating it:)...
Don't be afraid to walk in the ocean you will not sink :)"

August and I immersed ourselves in Storie's cool exhibit under a troubled sky and atop and a darkened sea filled with large surreal images, 2 giant semi-transparent tunnels that gave the feel of being under water, and a variety of fun little scenic areas to play on, relax and enjoy. I forgot to add my advanced windlights, but the photos can still give you an idea how much fun we had. This is my kind of art exhibit, unique, fun to look at and things to enjoy in an immersive environment. I even purchased one of the images for my SLhome. We met Storie's and she was very sweet and welcoming and even made an image of me while I was in a tube, hanging laundry like one of the images. Poor August was attacked by a shark, but survived and enjoyed playing around in the sim too : ) This exhibit is very worth checking out. Be sure to click around.

The sim also holds some quality shopping and another cool exhibit, "The Last Voyage of Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes" by a big pirate ship and sailing type paintings by Javier (orshini.tarantal) and other areas. The sim info states: Serena Imagine Arts Center hosts new or already known artists to make people enjoying their talent.

A Whymsee Thursday in Second Life

'Made the rounds tonight and one of the highlights was a Whymsee psychedelic experience with DJ Fifi Oh and particle show by Moondance Parx in their immersive special event:
at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whymsee/76/181/2901.  Thanks to the tip from Bryn Oh.  Hmm.. wonder if Bryn and Fifi are related?  Whymsee is a dance club experience  in SL with audience-centered dance performances in regulary changing sets and events that are tons of fun.  If you want to play along, here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/WhymseeSL/?hc_ref=ARS1uJbyfROt18pVsSakPODWnvGDf4bNgyymDQETB6d2FoJTW4p5dAhmfVQDah_9Qi

My friend Dividni Shostakovich hosts LEA15 this round and currently has two exhibits there to enjoy through the end of the month.  There is The Games we Play which is like a giant room of chess pieces that are much larger than life size by Krystali Rabeni.  On anther several levels there is Everywhere Nowhere by Jade Yu Fhang. Be sure you click around as you can pose and animate in some place.  I took a few pics of course.
