Isle of View, LL Valentine's Sim Open Again This Year

The LL Isle of View is back this year. I wondered where they went last year, but seems they have their Valentines sim all ready to go for this year. I ran over for a few pics and their kissing booths are all set. This year, as in years past excluding last year, the Lindens will be available for kisses and photos with SL residents for Valentines Day. In years past they would joke around with residents who would get a kiss, pic and sometimes a bear. There were some short lines and some longer lines. I wonder how it will be this year. Their blog promises: "If you’re looking for a place to take a romantic date, why not stop by the Isle of View? We’ve dusted off, spruced up, and revamped a blast from the past with a Swan Boat Ride and some free treats for you and your special someone. Valentine Bears, candied hearts, kissing booths and a skyline of fireworks are sure to send the mood for love". I'm not sure if I will hit their time frames as I work and Valentines day is on my Friday work day. At any rate check out this heart shaped island that is dissected by a swan boat ride river way. I did pick up some cute Linden Valentines bears and some wearable candy hearts that you literally can eat away at. They are transfer too so can be given as gifts. There are plenty of single and couples scenic resting spots for photos. If you need more places to visit for Valentines day check out the LL blog here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Featured-News/Celebrate-Valentine-s-Day-in-Second-Life/ba-p/2479575 for some other cute explores. The destination guide also has a romance category here: http://secondlife.com/destinations/romance.

One thing I found quite off about this place was the red water. It was a bit disturbing -- it reminded me of the famous move "The 10 Commandments" when Moses (Charleton Heston) put his staff against the Nile and made the water turn into blood. I really found it creepy but at the same time interesting.
ReplyDeletehahah.. maybe just reflections.. idk
