I was seeing red... almost ALL red. Last night Club Nine (previously blogged here:ClubIXHere.) hosted THEREDPARTY in support of Costa Rica Sims Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS Fundraiser, one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. DJ Bren Betts provided the tunes while a consistent crowd of over 50 attendees danced the night away. The club colors were changed to red and almost all the attendees wore mostly red. The Club Nine Go-Gos took over the bar as usual. Throughout the evening donations could be made directly through the Red Ribbon kiosk or one could bid on silent auction items including: A pre-release exclusive from Tres Beau and one-of-a-kind recolorings from AddiCt, LELUTKA and NSD. 100% of the highest bids will be donated to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. I was there quite a while but had to leave a bit before the end, so missed the winners. It was great to see so much red, one of my favorite colors and all for a good cause. Persia Bravin's Rez Day & May Costa Rica Influential Party

Sunday, May 29th I attended a party for one of SL's favorite media sweetie's, Persia Bravin! She was celebrating her selection as the May Costa Rica Influential and also her rez day. I think everyone in SL knows Persia, so I won't go on and on about all her accomplishments and tons of things she is involved in, as it's all over the web and I've mentioned her here several times before as well. I just wanted to save and post a few pics from her party here. The party was a smash with over 70 attendees, full at times, and constantly hopping with dj tunes by Mikee Gemini Ghost who was actually celebrating his RL birthday that day as well. It's notable Persia's actual rez day was June 1st (I think, that's close anyway). It's also notable that Blackbarbie Bravin, another of BOSL's gems who also helps run the magazine along with Persia celebrates her rez day the day after Persia, so wish them both a good one!


The beach themed party Sunday was mostly casual and swimwear at a spot in Alajuela, Costa Rica sim. Some of the many attendees were Claus Uriza, Candylicious Forster, LaPiscean Liberty, Ivy Maverick, Leila Roddenham, Dividni Shostakovich, Kikki Snowpaw, Lacy Muircastle and many others. I had a great time, but had to go RL, so I snapped some pics, wished Persia well, danced a few songs and said my hellos and goodbyes. One of my favorites is in Teagan, Equality, Wraith Dragons Temple. They recently had a reopening and the notcard describes it best: " Wraiths covers 2 sims and includes Dragons, Dragon Avs, Robot Avs, Fairies, Fairy Avs, Dragon pets, Fairy pets, other pets, Mermaids, Sci Fi monsters and creatures, Monsters, Trolls, and so much more. There are also hidden places for exploring, dancing and romance. We also have Dragon Rides, Sci Fi ride and a mermaid ride. Much of the product has been updated and many new additions, including a whole Sci Fi and Apocalyptic section."

My friend Dividni showed me "Heartseed" Wild Designs sim. This actually has a plant with a heart with a pose ball inside to find.. and cool underwater and sky things.. I think you have to look closely to actually catch some things in this place or visit more than once. Some interesting unique couples pose balls around. Check it out here:Heartseed.







Lion's Gate Journey's End is super cool with pods you enter around the exterior of the gallery for some special 3D immersive art sets. The gallery itself is more club-like with dancing and life music lined with art. Great for art lovers, explorers and people who like live music and dancing.
