Valentine Town and Mardi Gras Town, by Laura LIberty, Now Open

I started at Valentine Town with a ride through the tunnel of love. Then I got sidetracked wanting to show it off to friends as it was a really cool ride. I took pics below so you can see it's fairly long, smooth and has a variety of sections that are all super well done. I then entered into the main center of the town where there is a big scenic dancing area and two sides of cool buildings filled with all things Valentines day from decorations, to props, to furniture, to clothes and costumes, to foods, to poses, to gifts, etc on sale for Valentines day.There are even two love lock walls where a person can purchase a lock and have it inscribed with their names or little message for that special someone that is locked on to one of two love lock trellis walls with a commemorative copy going to the couple who purchased it. It's a great explore, fun ride and sim, and great seasonal shopping. Laura is known for her annual seasonal towns and you can join her subscribo or group for townies to stay on top of their openings. I like to go early and then repeatedly go back taking friends. This is a must see Valentine sim.

Next I entered Laura's Mardi Gras Town, also just opened for the season. Valentine and Mardi Gras Towns have direct TP boards to each other. It also is loaded with fun seasonal products including decor, gifts, props, awesome masks, clothes and costumes etc. too. I took more pics for you to see. It's a riot of colors. There are freebie fun hoola hoops and dancing area. It's just opened so I was able to see it without a lot of avs around however her towns get a ton of traffic typically, so go early, go often, and support her as she is great about providing these fun places year after year. Enjoy!
And I even caught a pic of Laura.. shes a super sweet person and I remember years and years ago she came out and played with us in Easter town in the peep races and different things. She usually says hello and is very friendly. I always appreciate her fun free toys and that she makes great sims for us all to enjoy. One of the great people who make my SL go round.

Look What's Popping Up All Over the Grid-Product Review Riot Syrio Leggings

This is a guilty pleasure product review of which I rarely do any more due to the old laptop getting bad for photos (don't want to poorly represent anyone's product) and of course mostly because I'm lazy now. Scroll to the borrom for pics if you don't like to read.
Anyway, I just could not resist blogging this product. I've been seeing it all over the grid lately and my first reaction was OMG .. I'm appalled. That was my delicate side saying that to myself, then as time went by (like 2 seconds) my "other" side that quickly becomes desensitized as all good things in SL seemed to succumb to, I was like.. mmmm, it looks like it wants me to touch it. So here I am blogging it.... I'll have to blog a bunch of other stuff quick too now though to bury the post so my friends, family, pastor, etc in real life don't see it now that I've totally outted my RL left on the blog after going to Dallas Jam and posting RL pics and stuff. But somehow I just couldn't let this product go by unsaved for my blog. Years from now I want to be able to come back and see how my SL progressed and while I am not usually a fan of promoting the idea that SL is all about sex, like the media would like for it to be seen, once in a while.. it is. Ok, I said it. On a Sunday no less. Anyway.. mostly my SL is about music, and art, and being creative, and having social time from the couch in my PJs, and more music and art and exploring new things. I first saw them on Erik who was singing at the time then my friend Eli whose been out in them and others. I grabbed MALT (male alt) and we both put on a pair for a photo) Apparently they are affectionately referred to as the boner tights.....so here it is........

This event runs June 30th through July 31st. The Crystal Heart is an annual mahou shoujo themed event, dedicated to all of those who love magical girls. ♥

There is a lot of Sailor Moon type stuff, Kwaii, costume, free gifts, gacha, and some super cute quality fashionable dresses and other clothes and cute products. I love the Blueberry dress and had to get that among other items. This is a very large event with many well known name brands in a big area .. plan to spend a lot of money and time there if you like to shop in SL. Sorry guys, but I mostly saw things for the ladies.

The Avi Choice Awards 2016
Today I attended the Avi Choice awards 2016 final including lifetime awards. I was honored and please to be a nominee for blogging and am glad to see kudos going out to some of the people who help make this SL go round. I always appreciate those who help make my SL more enjoyable in a variety of ways through their hard work.
There were a lot of high profile attendees and performers including AleyKat, Luciano Lionheart (they sang separately and in a touching duet at the end) Savannah Rain, and Christopher Quan. I enjoyed seeing and hearing Persia Bravin announce the fashion section along with other announcers.
I sat with friends Kathy Nikolaidis and Cash Benelli. Kathy and I posed it up for the paparazzi prior to the show. There were approx. 80 people on the sims in attendance and another 50 in the next associated viewer sim, so it was a little hard for some to stay stable, but I was able to get some decent photos though. I really enjoyed the shows and pretty sets.
The Avi Choice official web sites will list the winners so I'll direct you there for the nominees and winner lists. They said they had over 8,000 hits on their web site this year, 98 categories and about a quarter of a million votes, You can find it, the winners, and other info. here: https://avichoiceawards.com/
At the end of the show they said they have a policy of never saying the best, but rather, the favorite based on the votes, but they broke that when they announced the best producer and director for the Avi Choice awards which went to Nikki Matheson. Then 3 hours later we were joined by the listening sim attendees in the lobby for the after party with dancing and music and grabbing our swag bags full of free goodies.

Boudoir Wearable furniture and Spring Line

Occasionally I'll blog SL products I like and today I'm featuring the newish Boudoir Wearables and spring line of furniture by Precious Restless. My good friend Kathy Nikolaidis already blogged the Gacha-Bunny Porters chair rare available at the Boudoir store inworld which actually isn't a wearable but a cute spring item. There is a similar Spring Throne on marketplace that however is a wearable. And here I am wearing the Wearable Boudoir. And before you start thinking they are all girly, I've found there are a bunch of wearables, some for various seasons, some for guys, some light and some dark. The wearables are chairs or sets that you wear instead of rez. There are even some rideable things and all seem to be very reasonably priced. The nice thing about the wearables is you can take/wear them anywhere and pop them out even in sims you cant rez in. Also they are highly detailed so you don't have to worry about adding prims to a sim as you would if you rezzed a set or thing out to the ground. The wearable I'm sitting in has 2 different poses. As I said Kathy's chair isn't a wearable but it's low prim and still highly detailed and a great gacha item. Kathy took her pic and I did mine obviously as I don't Photoshop so sorry the pic you get from me is raw as/is in SL.

The lingerie I'm wearing in this pic I also really like. It's Erratic's Risque' Eden nude and is a cute little set that fits easily and well with my Maitreya Lara mesh body. It's currently available at this round of Collabor88. I actually first saw this outfit and wearable last night at the Voodoo Lounge when Toxic (Toxie) Darkmatter was singing and the theme was lingerie so she was sporting the whole deal on stage while vamping out her tunes. I always love to hear her sing and you can find her on the Wispering Sands Live Promotions site here: http://wslpromo.net/

Patron Banyan House & Just Because Kimbra Gown-Two Class Acts
So, as you know, I don't frequently blog products and when I do it's either at the request of a friend and is something I like or occasionally there is just something I totally completely love that I feel the need to blog and share with anyone I can. This happens to be one of those must blog moments for both this build and this gown. Eliza Wierwight is very well known for her elegant home décor, art, and landscaping and she's combined these three skills with this latest release, her Banyan House. Their info. states in part, "The PATRON Banyan House Original Edition, currently seen on the Time SIM Inworld, is ideally suited for customers that have a full SIM or Homestead. Though this version of the Banyan House will fit on 25% of a full region, it's a tight fit on the borders." They also offer a reduced footprint version for smaller spaces. Hopefully you can see by the pictures the highly detailed home features with many open air room spaces. The special features really add a lot as well including a moving night sky ceiling piece in the elegant bedroom, an Imagination room that hints of 50 Shades of Grey and an offering of future modules to be released for room options, and there are many wonderful little things and places to find that took me a couple trips to find. It's a class act through and through with no-pose ball animation system, butler system that summons a range of activities right where you desire, wonderful full landscaping, sounds, and the full experience. You can see many of the special features on their blog site. Eliza said the demo house will be on it's current location for about 4 more weeks then move to the Patron sim area. The landscaping is truly impressive and offers great scenery looking out of the windows as well as for outdoor enjoyment including beach and waterfall areas, decorator pool, and various water décor areas in and around the home. If you aren't in the market for a new home, this place is worth a visit just to explore and see and enjoy, and you might find that you are in the market after all, as it's just that great!

Next I'd like to feature the beautiful Kimbra Gown by Just Because that is currently offered at the Uber event. This gown is so fantastic I bought the fat pack hud so that I can have all colors. Not only does it fit easily and perfectly, it looks amazing with a great cut that is extremely sexy yet classy at the same time with it's low back and curves in all the right places. The textures and design are great and the price is right so I highly recommend this gown. On a side note Just Because also just released a very cute Lucie tank top in multiple styles over at FaMESHed too! So you might want to check out these two events for these products then head over to the Just Because main store for more great shopping. I'm wearing the gown in some of the below Banyan House pictures. Note: the DeLa Lorena hair I have on also can be found at Uber.

The event is seven days of live djs, performers, tribute concerts, art exhibitions, contests, shopping, a hunt, a gingerbread building contest, skating, advent calendar and gifts, and more all on this nicely decorated sim! The art show is sponsored and produced by Windlight Magazine and Windlight Art Gallery and features some amazing artists including some of favs such as Bryn Oh, Cica Ghost, Skip Staheli, Wicca Merlin, and more. There is also great shopping with some great name brands so it really has something for everyone including nice photo ops.
