Snarl
Visit Snarl Here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA13/60/196/3972
The new Linden Endowment for the Arts 6 month artist in residence land grant art sims are starting to open. Snarl is the first one I've visited this round and found it to be very cool. It's sort of a messy snarl of beautifully colored fibers or tubular twisty things that you can fall through. It's big, it changes, its cool. This piece made by Mac Kanashimi runs now through December 31st.
Size: 256W, 256D, 4060H (meter)
His note states:
"- Snarl looks like a messed up thread, fiber, vine, etc.
- Snarl curls at random in every direction.
- Snarl uses about 5000 objects, 3 prims per object.
- Snarl is four kilometers high.
- Snarl has unique prim colors.
- Lightness has the slowest cycle making Snarl go from light at its tail to dark at its head.
- Saturation has a faster cycle than lightness.
- Hue has a faster cycle than saturation.
- Snarl breaks down at least once a day from tail to head and rebuilds.
- Snarl uses HSL to RGB conversion {1}"
He has other info. on his landing note so be sure to grab that at ground level and enjoy the build. I made a little video of Kara falling through it.

Fairy Tales Castle
Visit here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Inception/128/128/25
I was checking out the Linden Labs destination guide, and noted one of the editor's picks looked cool so decided to go exploring as it's been a while. This one is a winner for explorers as its a sim filled with many different areas to find, get trapped in, teleport to either by choice or by random clicking, plenty of freebies, tunnels, caves, traps, play areas, battling dragons, hidden places, treasure, pirates, ghosts, animations, great use of lights and sounds, photo ops and props, a quest, stories, and all fantasy related. I really did enjoy this one and I'd recommending clicking almost everything.
Their land info. states: "Fairy Tales Castle is open. Please enjoy exploring the castle and the tunnels. Be wary of the dragon - he's not to be trusted. Find the treasures.. Have fun. This is a homestead sim, please keep your scripts to a minimum. "
The sim and things on it appear to belong to Talya Barzane.
