Today I just noticed that a SL video hit the Wordpress editor's picks. Huckleberry Hax has the "What the Huck" Wordpress blog located here: https://huckleberryhax.wordpress.com/2015/06/21/what-second-life-means-to-me/
His video from last year is currently on the first page of the Wordpress discover editor's picks page. His video "What Second Life Means to Me" is the subject or blog post selected. I think that's very cool and hopefully will get a little positive SL attention around. Congrats Huckleberry! You can see the editor's picks page with it here: https://discover.wordpress.com/editors-picks/

The Path, by Cherry Manga at Split Screen Installation Space
Visit here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Amra/100/40/23
I've been super busy First Life for a week or two but before I left I took some pics at Split Screen Installation Space owned by Dividini Shoshtakovich where Cherry Manga has her recent exhibit, The Path. I'm back now and posting them up here. At the landing you can pick up a free "The Path" art piece and a free "Light of Light" avatar to wear into the immersive exhibit. The space is very spacy with a constellation night sky looking area where you can jump on pose spots and become one with the space/time travel idea. Cherry always has great exhibits but she's not exhibited in SL for a while now so it's great to see her back again. Be sure to check this exhibit out and keep your Split Screen landmark as Divi consistently provides quality large immersive art projects there.
The sim note reads:
""Creativity is contagious. Pass it on." Albert Einstein
The path is a small installation based on Fest'Avi 2016 project.
The idea is to show visitors the spirit of the concept developed in FrancoGrid, with this moving line representing the path of life, the inner travel that we all go through during our life.
It is far from revealing the opensim project , if you like what you see here, you will love what is in Fest'Avi 2016 on FrancoGrid.
You are invited to discover Fest'Avi on FrancoGrid, opening in 7th of September.
Fest'Avi started in 2014, each year, participants offer their creations, full permissions avatars, that are freely given through the metaverse.
Fest'Avi 2016 will be displayed on a var region (3x3 classic sims) without prim size limitation, with NPC avatars everywhere. It is a huge installation, where visitors are invited to discover the path with selected camera positions, the music is composed for each scene, it's an immersive travel with a full scenography.
Participating in Fest'Avi is like saying that the big Metaverse under OpenSimulator is different: the common goods and the sharing are the essential components of this spacetime. Fest'Avi reinforces our spirit for sharing cared objects, inspired, attractive and aesthetic."
