Fantasy Faire Sims

The Fantasy Faire Sims are Open. I'm just posting some sim pics this time.  They don't do the areas justice as my computer is not wanting to cooperate with taking pics and I'm on low to mid graphics these days, but you can get an idea.  Each of the sims has their own windlight presets so some of these are taken from long cams using my selected lighting but most are with the lights they set for each sim all untouched.  I have many more pics on my blogging Flickr. There are 14 sims this year: 10 shopping sims, one quest sim, one Arts and Entertainment sim, one Literary Festival sim and then the Junction that also has the Memorial and Silent Auction areas from 4-21-16 through May 1st.

Fantasy Faire 2016 Opens Tomorrow, 4-21-16

My favorite annual SL event opens to the public tomorrow April 21 and runs through May 1!   I have some preview items and would like to show you the Jinx poseable unicorns that come in both wearable and rezzable styles with many poses and they are low prim.  They come in a variety of magical colors.  I'm wearing last year's FF Azul fairy outfit.  I took a couple of pictures with two of them in the LEA14 sim fantasy skybox since the Fantasy Faire sims are not open yet... but soon! There are 14 sims this year: 10 shopping sims, one quest sim, one Arts & Entertainment sim, one Literary Festival sim and then the Junction that also has the Memorial and Silent Auction areas.

I'm still sorting through blogger packages for the Fantasy Faire as previously blogged.  I came across 2 very different types of full avatars that are unique and delightful.  The first is a gacha item from Dandelion Daydreams Factory and is one of 15 unique "Paper Poppets".  These whimsical full avatars look just like paper dolls.  They bend and move and have just a tiny bit of depth to them.  They have tabs on the back that give the appearance of paper clothes on paper dolls. They are ony 149L each at the promo price found at the main sim link above.  The sim itself is gorgeous to explore too.  I'll just copy their sim info. here as it says it well... Next I found these petite sea sprites by Fallen Gods.  Fallen Gods is very well known in SL for their amazing fantasy skins and other things fantasy.  Their current sim info. reads, "Explore and enrich your Second Self with a look that can flow from elf to werewolf, from demon to pixie, from fae to drow, from mermaid to vampire, from angel to human... Libertine Furniture."  Alia Baroque's profile states......Owner and Creator of Fallen Gods Inc., Libertine and the Arcipelagus. http://fallengodsinc.blogspot.com/  This is also a great sim to explore.  The adorable Fallen Gods sesa sprites for Fantasy Faire are super cute petite avatars and although they are sea sprites I added some fun ~Nomiki's Creations~ Misty Fae wings to make mine a bit fairy like and Wasabi Pills petite mesh hair to match.  This designer truly has some absolutely beautiful skin, and even some horrifying demons too! This place is not to be missed.

AZUL Pepek'e for Fantasy Faire, Relay for Life

One of my fav Fantasy Faire Relay for Life designs is, not surprisingly, from Azul, one of my favorite dress makers in Second Life.  I'm wearing one of two exclusive, pre-release items that Mami Jewell has created with profits to be donated 100% to RFL during the Fantasy Faire 2015. This dress includes the wings and attached butterflies.

The Fantasy Faire 2015 in Second Life--Opens April 23

The Fantasy Faire is only a couple of days away and I'm eagerly looking forward to blogger day tomorrow so I can get an early lag-free peek and take some pics for this blog. I love this set and it comes with so many extras.  The arrows in the back are nicely detailed and there are 5 different styles with each the male or female versions including cloaks with and without hoods or hood and mask, hats, hunting knife attachment and boots. Yay yay!  /me jumps up and down many times!  The 2015 SL Fantasy Faire is almost here!  This is always one of my very fav SL event, and for a great cause, Relay for Life.   The event this year will be from April 23-May 3rd 2015.

meadowWorks by Garvie Garzo will be reopening on it's own sim in May, but in the mean time you can find the beautiful landscape and nature items on the SL Marketplace here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/84387 and is represented in the Crimson Fields area at the Fantasy Fair that opened this Saturday April 20th. meadowWorks has so so many beautiful landscaping grasses, flowers, underwater, and fun items that although the main store has a couple of weeks until it re-opens with more space a look on marketplace shows the quality and beauty of the products.  Some of the items being offered for the Fantasy fair included Opium Poppy Packs, Moonflower Vines, sold in Moth Rezzing version is EXCLUSIVE for FF, Sleeper Sculpture which is new for FF,  Hypnos Bust, new and exclusive for FF, and  Ancient Garden Ornament, which is new for FF, among other items. The annual Second Life Fantasy Fair is opening Saturday April 20! In the mean time I am playing with this super cool airship from one of the most impressive venders in SL who will be present at the Fantasy Faire in the Lumenaria sim.   Garden of Dreams, otherwise know as GOD by Kayle Matzerath has this airship for sale.  Their store is an amazing explore in itself and has so many magical and amazing builds, including items to decorate a sim such as landscaping, vehicles, furniture, decorations, surroundings, freebies and so much more. GOD is also home to the well known Dreamscenes which are wonderfully decorated skyboxes of all kinds.  I especially love their impressive fantasy styles.  As I said, a visit to their huge store area is like a fun explore for me and I grabbed a shot of this same airship there too, which is currently featured in their main store.

I flew the airship around my sim and it was a blast.  The air ship featured here comes with a variety of movement controls and animations, is easy to drive even for me, and it's highly detailed.

Next I checked out their Library Dreamscene which is a large highly detailed library rezzer that includes poses in each of the normal bookshelves, reading animations, display boxes that can open and close, the couch has dozens of cuddle and sex animations, all the chairs have a lot of sit animations including read and write with book and feather, a fireplace with room for 3 people, window sills will cuddles, sex and singles sits.  I love the the textures and shadows and details that make it all look so real.
