This is an amazingly gorgeous sim.  Don't let the sim title fool you into thinking this could be some cheesy cliche fantasy sim (which I love btw), because while it is probably some of what you might expect with unicorns, mermaids, stray lights, rainbows, flying rideable winged horses, flowers, butterflies, sparkly lights, etc. its all put together in a beautiful sim with lots of nooks and hidden places including caves and dense forests, a huge dragon clad mountain, actually the dragon seems to be having it out with a winged unicorn, and I cant tell whose guarding the mountain or winning but be sure you get inside the mountain and also check out things in the water. There are plenty of elves and fairies and bridges and exotic paths. The sim has a large feel to it and seems to go on forever.  It's filled with many fantastical beings and has like maybe 5 million wonderful pose, cuddle, and resting places. It even hosts a cool gallery featuring various artists. I like that the sections all seem sort of separate and private, mostly due to great landscaping.

The Lost Unicorn and Lost Unicorn Gallery are owned by Natalie (Natalie.Montagne).  Great job Natalie.! I've seen earlier versions of Lost Unicorn, and what I've seen before is great, but this version really shines.

I highly recommend using the sim set windlights and when inside the mountain that's guarded by the dragon, enjoy walking the path but ride the bubbles and use the ropes too.  And don't miss exploring  the caves on the other side of the sim too. Click on things, ride and sit in places, cam all around and enjoy it all. It's very well put together.

As a side note, they also have 10 rentals also impressively landscaped.

Daydream, by Cica Ghost: Lose Yourself in A Daydream

Cica's Daydream is filled with her hallmark whimsical looking creatures but this sim is a little more surreal than some of her others.  There is a wide variety of fantasy larger than life creations and creatures and many pose places so click on! Cica is a master of windlights and the sim music choice also matches the content well. This is a fun explore and great for taking pics.  Cica continues to impress and entertain me in SL. This is a very immersive experience and the last two images I posed in so you can see the perspective.  There is a lot more to see and if you want to see more of my pictures, click on one of these which will take you to my Flickr.  Cica's sims are always fun to see and this one has quite a variety of things to enjoy.  Happy exploring.

Mystical Fae Forest

9th Annual Fantasy Faire Now Open in Second Life

4-30-17 update: Word is in that The Fairelands will be open for shopping, hunting, exploring, picture taking, and spontaneous partying through May 4th! Sunday April 30th is our last full scheduled day full of events. On Monday we'll have a six-hour closing party of relaxed hanging out. After that there will be no organized events (although impromptu parties might sprout up), but the Fairelands stay open for visitors until Lindens take them back from us.
As long as the Fairelands are here, the quest is playable and shopping and exploring encouraged.

The Fantasy Faire opens 4-20-17 and will run through the end of the month. Check their web page for event schedule, sim and store info.  There are 15 regions including a quest and entertainment area as well as the 13 unique and super cool main sim areas to explore and shop.  The event benefits Relay for Life.  I took a few pics and more are on my Flickr, but go see for yourself..  This is my fav SL annual event and they continue to impress!

Exploring Natural Falls V

I have to say this is a super cool magical urban decay sim that is both eerie and beautiful at the same time.  Unfortunately it was hard on my poor old computer to explore much and take photos there but what I did see was sooo cool.  I mostly took pictures in what I consider the pretty fantasy garden area but the rest the sim has different feels to it too.  There are some pose spots great for singles and couples  that would make for good photos with avatars in them too. Their sim info. from the destination guide states: "Natural Falls is located in an abandoned, flooded metropolis slowly decaying under a derelict, elevated railway.  Explore this urban sprawl of neglected gardens, forsaken shops, and deserted homes"

Emerald Caverns Love Tunnel

I was checking out the SL destination guide and saw this fantasy looking ride and wanted to give it a try, so I invited Cash Benelli to come along and try it out with me.  It's called Emerald Caverns Love Tunnel but the boat pose is a very G rated side by side sit, the music playing was techno, and the ride was very fantasy looking.  Overall a fun, relaxing and pretty ride.  This would make for a quick nice casual scenic location to enjoy with a friend or a date.
