Lobby Cam Party in the Wheat Fields with Bryn Oh

Bryn Oh hosted a great party Saturday 9-5 over in Immersiva and Lobby Cam, her most recent build that is a must see immersive artsy, gamey, explorable good time that I've previously blogged here:

Lobby cam will be open for some time yet but be sure to get on over for your chance before Bryn starts making (or putting in) something new for us to enjoy.  She reset the typically sunny rural wheat field area sim lights to a sort of bluish foggy haze that seemed to represent the coming fall season.  She's a master of setting the ambiance and picking the best windlights, and it looked very cool.  I took a few pictures in daylight lighting for comparison but the sim set windlight seemed to work for me along with the somewhat unique personally selected song play list Bryn picked out and DJ'd by John (Johannes1977).  It became a sort of star studded party with many high profile people such as Ux Hax (MetaLES), Will Burns/Aeonix (Synthetic Environment Specialist, AKA: Techy CB),  (Inara Pey (blogger and much more) Emma Portillo (Events Coordinator, blogger, etc.) Saoirseheart More (blogger, writer, podcaster)  Josie Anderton (SL Live Musician)  Bixyl Shuftan (SL Newser Editor) George Downes, Glitter Princess Destiny, Gem Sunkiller, and many many more to the extent the sim was full shortly after the party started then with some coming and going through the sets as they could.

Why, why, why, why???

Dear Facebook…. (I use the term “dear” loosely at this point)  ~Sob~   WHhyyyyy?  I prepared, and have since trashed  a long drawn out rant and I feel a tad better having just typed it all out in gross detail as I am apt to do,  but realized it’s all been said and done before, many times over.   Big brother can certainly discern who the person behind the av is if they so desire, so I know that can’t be the real issue here. No one really needs a copy of my driver’s license, birth certificate, shopping list, blood sample, and first born.  No, I do not carry the mark of the beast but if you plan on giving me one in order to keep track, I’ll take a pass.   Compilation of data for marketing, tracking, and keeping tabs on the entire world can’t be that difficult really.  Please take a page from brother Google.   I simply now propose Facebook allow for an avatar alternative accounts as long as it’s clearly stated to be just that, so there is no confusion for the poor real/first life people who can’t  seem to tell the difference and feel they are being deceived and  violated against when in reality it’s the real life identity stealers and fakers that are the real problem here.  I don’t care if FB slaps a few of their advertisements on my avatar page as long as it’s not excessive because avatars do have consumers behind them.  So feel free. I know you’ve done just that before to my avatar account using me to reach my thousands of friends without so much as a thank you to me for the use of me getting your word out for free for you.  I don’t mind, really.   Just let me have my avatar FB account back…. AMForte Clarity was the big August winner over at ArtistSignal and while she played her last set at Kennedy's last night the news came in she received the most votes on Artist Signal where you can see, hear, and vote for many of your fav SL artists.  She was so excited she almost broke down with a little crying in joy during her set when the vote tally was announced.  AM is so sweet she repeatedly thanked all her SL fans and supporters.  She plays multiple sets in SL almost daily and in the past has won the SL live musician of the year awards and is always one of the favored musicians in high demand.  This is a well deserved win for a great long time SL musician with many fans. This is a beautiful place to explore, pose, take pics, and hang out with friends.  They have various levels, many little scenic areas,  and there are even a couple of different pianos along with other nice things.  The background music is Chouchou.   The sim info. states: "外苑 -the outer garden- by bisou Dexler Please spend time when conversation with friend and sweetheart,  walk and picture taking relaxed.  No sex or nudity."  The official web site is here: http://thegaien.blogspot.jp/#

Got Drama? Take it to SLeople's Court

So I found this ad for SLeople's Court and had to check this out.  The sessions are Thursdays at 6pm SLT.  I ran over to have a look and met up with JardenAlexis who showed me the court rooms and offices that looks real and told me a little more about it.  She said they have been a lot of fun and the next court date is this Thursday at 6pm SLT.  The court sessions are technically run like rollplay and they roll with the alleged issue on docket. She said they are good entertainment complete with attorney, judge, bailiff etc.  She referred me to Cosmo Kawabata (cosmopecan.kawabata) who started it.   One of their promos states: "Got drama? Bring it to Court. Baby dadda/mama acting up? Bring them to Court. Landlord kick you out for no reason? You know what to do!   Looking for cases for upcoming court sessions. Contact CosmoPecan Kawabata or Jana Fleming to get your case on the docket". If you are interested in being an attorney or another position please also get in touch with Cosmo.
