On a tip from my friend Greg Parker I ran over to check out Loose Nuts, at Nut's Landing.  This is a rotating party/dance sim owned by Delia Claremont with builds by her and DJ Dune (Dunerunner), Pross (prosperine2), and Hepburn.  I happened to catch their Mardi Gras build before the party and took a few pics then came back while Dune was putting some finishing touches on the "SL Love is Strange"  or sort of a Out of This World anti-Valentines day Valentines party build where there will be a party open to the public tonight from 5-8pm SLT, then 5-8 Saturday and again Sunday, Valentines day from 4:30-7:30pm SLT.  

Ok, I must emphasize here that this place is very cool and not your average party or club time dance area.  They make these builds and boy do they make them.  The pictures do not do them justice.  They have an amazing fully immersive look and feel to them, with vignette areas to play and interact, photo booths and photo ops, games, fun things to see and do and they are fully decorated and surrounded.  Apparently they have these themed rotating events regularly and do new builds for them along with having a consistent club on the ground and a current winter barn area too.  These are great explores and photo opportunities too. Hint: look for hidden areas too!  Hope to see you there!

Discover your deepest desires at this new upscale adult lounge and entertainment sim.  Last night I visited the grand opening of 'The Inner Room".  This classy new adult lounge features both public and VIP sections. They uniquely offer a variety of rooms with something for everyone including a jazz bar, Roman bath house, Boho area, BDSM, gameroom, cigar room, movie theater, burlesque area, video room, main club areas, and social settings just to name a few.  The Inner Room is owned by Serenity Starfall.  I was very impressed with the classy styling and design by Tommi Bayn and Essence Bilasimo.  The animations throughout are impressive,  with smooth animations and transitions. They make great use of decor, textures, special lighting effects, some original builds and animations, seductive music, and a variety of vignette type settings in different rooms and areas.   I noted plenty of adult things to play on for singles, couples, and groups. Based on appearance and the overall quality and the clientele present for the opening  'The Inner Room' is destined to become a popular adult hangout.  We are promised special entertainment, and some decor rotation and themed areas.   Step into The Inner Room for a night of desires.   This is not just another club but a door to be discovered.  The VIP sections will open November 7th. Open 24/7.  I even had a sneak peek tour so grabbed some pics before people flowed in.  My photos don't do the ambiance justice and of course there are many many areas and I just grabbed a few shots.  Check it out for yourself and you will see the quality of the work here.  Their grand opening invitation reads:

Featuring Toxic Darkmatter

I'm finally getting this little sample bit of a video up here.  Toxic Darkmatter is one of my fav SL singers.  She not only sings with that smooth sexy voice,  but she is a great entertainer too.  She sings a variety of genre from current dance hits, to 70s and 80s tunes to several parodies, some a capella, and some originals.

She is managed by Whispering Sands Live Promotions who btw just put my blog on their news feed banner.  If you check out their web site you can see Toxi's schedule, bio, etc  as well as info. on all their other musicians, how to book them, rates, and use their social interaction login too.  They are super organized and book something like 85 shows a week.  Check that out here:  http://wslpromo.net/

I've taken a few pics at some of her shows because she and her attendees always seem to get into some extra fun. She has her stakers with big bushes, the hot Toxie for the Hot Child in the City, pole dancers at the VooDoo Lounge, and more crazy stuff all the time.

Got Drama? Take it to SLeople's Court

So I found this ad for SLeople's Court and had to check this out.  The sessions are Thursdays at 6pm SLT.  I ran over to have a look and met up with JardenAlexis who showed me the court rooms and offices that looks real and told me a little more about it.  She said they have been a lot of fun and the next court date is this Thursday at 6pm SLT.  The court sessions are technically run like rollplay and they roll with the alleged issue on docket. She said they are good entertainment complete with attorney, judge, bailiff etc.  She referred me to Cosmo Kawabata (cosmopecan.kawabata) who started it.   One of their promos states: "Got drama? Bring it to Court. Baby dadda/mama acting up? Bring them to Court. Landlord kick you out for no reason? You know what to do!   Looking for cases for upcoming court sessions. Contact CosmoPecan Kawabata or Jana Fleming to get your case on the docket". If you are interested in being an attorney or another position please also get in touch with Cosmo. 

5 Great Dance Shows Saturday!

There is a great group in SL for shows called Dance Queens.  If you enjoy dance shows, cabaret, burlesque, and theater this is a great group to belong too.  Cherri Banks of Dance Queens released this info. regarding Saturday shows.  I actually caught a couple of shows tonight, Friday, at The Empire Room and Gueerilla  Burlesque, so will use pics I took at those here as an example.  The press release states:

This is a dance show fundraiser in support of Animals Asia Foundation's "Honey Money Days" fundraising drive. All proceeds from this show will be donated to Animals Asia Foundation.
Jill Robinson founded Animals Asia Foundation (AAF) in 1998. The organization raises awareness of the inhumane methods used in bear bile, which involve bears living up to 25 years in small cages, with metal catheters inserted into their abdomens for bile extraction, or even open wounds through which the bile drips. The organization also works "to reduce the demand for bile in Asia by promoting affordable, effective and cruelty free alternatives." AAF headquarters is in Hong Kong, with sanctuaries in Vietnam and China. AAF has rescued more than 500 bears.

Soul Vision Album Reveal

Who doesn't like a mystery? Well today I received a notice in a group that had a blurry image ad, and while at first I wondered if it wasn't rezzing well, the words were very clear.  The image said: "Second Life Album Reveal, 6-7-15 Soul Vision" and the memo said:  "SUNDAY JUNE 7TH 4PM SLT   He's a man with a vision.  Join him to find out about the man behind the vision.   Soulvision will lead us through his new RL album which tells the story of his journey.  Save the date and join him on Sunday.  Location will be sent out in a notice before the party.. Hope to see you all there!"

 So, I don't know yet where this mystery man with the Second Life album reveal will be, but sounds interesting with an intriguing promotional. Being the overly-curious person I am I couldn't help but take a peek at the info. from the person who sent the memo, and then on to the referred booking agent to find just a little more info. about Soul Vision......"Streaming to SL from Ontario Canada, he's SL's hottest new live musician and someone you will want to hear again and again!"  Then I perv'd his profile and found he's 5 months old into SL and says he's new to SL (guess that means not an alt) and he's a full time singer and song writer. He's in partnership with Dirval Music Associates. I found a little more info. and feel like I'm behind on my SL music now as I have not heard him yet in SL.  I scooped out a little more info.:  "Soulvision is SL's newest performing artist to hit the grid, streaming into Second Life from Ontario Canada.  He is a music coach and teacher in RL as well as a singer/songwriter and brings his passion for music to Second Life.   His greatest influences include Ed Sheeran, Jewel and the new country music scene and he brings to his shows a Folk - Rock vibe with a hint of Country.  Soul plays a variety of songs from all different genres.  With a collection if 200+ songs of covers and originals,  a typical Soulvision concert may include songs from Ed Sheeran, Adele, Damien Rice, Pearl Jam, and Keith Urban."  And I have it on good authority that he's awesome!  I guess that's the best scoop I'm going to be able to come up with for now. So I will find out more tomorrow. The only other info. I know is to Contact Carol Greenwood for booking.

It's "Showtime" Magazine Featuring SL Entertainment

It's Showtime Folks! Most of you know Samual Wetherby from The Starlite theater where is he owner and dj/mc for some amazing theater dance shows every other Monday.  The Starlite has also hosted a variety of other parties always in amazing sets.  Samual also gets around SL to a lot of other theaters, shows, live music, and entertainment. I met Josie when I was pretty new or about 5 plus years ago.  She was into making beautiful photos in SL at that time and was just getting started singing in SL at the encouragement of friends.  I find it amazing she's not had any formal musical training yet sings like a bird.  After these few years she's one of SL's well known and highly sought after singers for events.  She sings to back tracks and has a great personality which adds to her show.  She has back up dancers now in matching outfits and some traditional songs like the can can song where regulars switch to their purple showgirl dresses and dance along.  Even her longtime boyfriend, George Downs, puts on the dress, which is quite fun since they are tiny little dresses, his complete with long braided hair and full feminine outfit. (so wrong it was right/from both sides) And he wasn't the only guy who went along with this.  Always fun times with Josie.


Speaking of George, Josie threw a great birthday party today for George who is super supportive of her shows and is also a big part of the fun with the regulars.  I stopped in and got these photos from the party.   I noted at one point there were 68 people in the sim.  It was a great party turnout.  Josie always draws crowds and she and George are well loved by many.  I've blogged her before several times but felt it was time again.  She even pretty regularly sings "In My Life" substituting Second Life at my suggestion a long time ago and does an amazing job of it.  Anyway, it was a great show and party today. Happy birthday George!
