Occasionally I'll blog SL products I like and today I'm featuring the newish Boudoir Wearables and spring line of furniture by Precious Restless.  My good friend Kathy Nikolaidis already blogged the Gacha-Bunny Porters chair rare available at the Boudoir store inworld which actually isn't a wearable but a cute spring item.   There is a similar Spring Throne on marketplace that however is a wearable.  And here I am wearing the Wearable Boudoir.  And before you start thinking they are all girly, I've found there are a bunch of wearables, some for various seasons, some for guys, some light and some dark.  The wearables are chairs or sets that you wear instead of rez.  There are even some rideable things and all seem to be very reasonably priced.  The nice thing about the wearables is you can take/wear them anywhere and pop them out even in sims you cant rez in.  Also they are highly detailed so you don't have to worry about adding prims to a sim as you would if you rezzed a set or thing out to the ground.   The wearable I'm sitting in has 2 different poses. As I said Kathy's chair isn't a wearable but it's low prim and still highly detailed and a great gacha item.   Kathy took her pic and I did mine obviously as I don't Photoshop so sorry the pic you get from me is raw as/is in SL.

The lingerie I'm wearing in this pic I also really like. It's Erratic's Risque' Eden nude and is a cute little set that fits easily and well with my Maitreya Lara mesh body. It's currently available at this round of Collabor88.    I actually first saw this outfit and wearable last night at the Voodoo Lounge when Toxic (Toxie) Darkmatter was singing and the theme was lingerie so she was sporting the whole deal on stage while vamping out her tunes.  I always love to hear her sing and you can find her on the Wispering Sands Live Promotions site here: http://wslpromo.net/

Boudoir for Christmas-And a Great Hunt and Photo Contest!

I always love to check out Boudoir at Christmas for some cool clothes, decorations, freebies, and great scenery.  This year they have a hunt with some quality prizes starting December 11th and ending January 7th!  They also have a photo contest with a deadline of December 17th to submit entries to their Flickr site, but be sure to read the rules for it in order to qualify for the prizes. 

This year I picked out a couple of sexy items, but they carry all kinds of clothes and accessories of course, from formal to whimsical. They also have beautiful furniture, decorations and some great builds.

In the top pic I'm wearing Boudoir's "Unwrap me baby!" in front of their gingerbread house sitting in the "Christmas shoppingcart"  and below I'm in their "Lady in Red" in front of their beautiful ballroom. Both the "Gingerbread house" scene and this Winter ballroom", which are among many other holiday builds and props, are for sale and so well made.

The promo notecard states: "You are cordially invited to attend the opening of Boudoir Immersive, a Real Life/ Second Life dual world art project created by Vitabela Dubrovna and Precious Restless. The opening will be on Saturday, April 6 from 3-4am SLT. The exhibit will run for a week from April 6-13.
Four years in the making, this will be the first virtual art project that Boudoir fashion studio has created. Through this multimedia exhibition, which also marks the first solo exhibition by Boudoir studio, we will be able to experience their distinctive style in two separate dimensions of creativity.
Garments constructed using 3D programs and Second Life virtual world platform, Boudoir will also re-create these same garments in real life exhibits and present them at the Ulupuh gallery (Croatian artists association).
Real life gallery visitors will have the opportunity to experience the virtual exhibition side by side with Second Life visitors from around the world through monitors set up at the exhibit. In addition, visitors to the Ulupuh gallery will also see the stunning life size collection of dresses created to match their virtual counterparts.
The whole project will also be documented in highly stylized photographs by Mladen Saric (RL pictures) and Petra Messioptra (SL pictures). Curated by Ana Lendvaj.

I went in for a sneak peak and ran into Boudoir owner, Precious Restless, who assured me it was ok to blog this now before the official opening party, and explained this exhibit has been a good way to present Second Life.  She said, "People in RL were thrilled XD.  It's very hard to explain what SL is to ppl so this was the best way to introduce our work here :)  Here in Croatia SL is not so popular and known so there is no bad reputation, but now we helped ppl to have an idea about it :)"
