Lost Unicorn, A Unicorn Sanctuary

Visit Lost Unicorn, A Unicorn Sanctuary Here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lost%20Unicorn/128/128/25

This is an amazingly gorgeous sim.  Don't let the sim title fool you into thinking this could be some cheesy cliche fantasy sim (which I love btw), because while it is probably some of what you might expect with unicorns, mermaids, stray lights, rainbows, flying rideable winged horses, flowers, butterflies, sparkly lights, etc. its all put together in a beautiful sim with lots of nooks and hidden places including caves and dense forests, a huge dragon clad mountain, actually the dragon seems to be having it out with a winged unicorn, and I cant tell whose guarding the mountain or winning but be sure you get inside the mountain and also check out things in the water. There are plenty of elves and fairies and bridges and exotic paths. The sim has a large feel to it and seems to go on forever.  It's filled with many fantastical beings and has like maybe 5 million wonderful pose, cuddle, and resting places. It even hosts a cool gallery featuring various artists. I like that the sections all seem sort of separate and private, mostly due to great landscaping.

The Lost Unicorn and Lost Unicorn Gallery are owned by Natalie (Natalie.Montagne).  Great job Natalie.! I love it!  Her profile says this about Lost Unicorn: "Dreamy forest full of beauty and  magic where childhood faerie tales come to life!  A unicorn sanctuary where many woodland animals and fantasy creatures can roam safe and free.   *Destination Guide Editor's Pick Winter 2017-18 and
   Summer 2018*"

Lost Unicorn is now in the Second Life Destination Guide, editor's picks.

I've seen earlier versions of Lost Unicorn, and what I've seen before is great, but this version really shines.

I highly recommend using the sim set windlights and when inside the mountain that's guarded by the dragon, enjoy walking the path but ride the bubbles and use the ropes too.  And don't miss exploring  the caves on the other side of the sim too. Click on things, ride and sit in places, cam all around and enjoy it all. It's very well put together.

As a side note, they also have 10 rentals also impressively landscaped.

"The Girl Who Cried Wolf" by Cica Ghost

Visit "The Girl Who Cried Wolf" in the moderate sim of Never, here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Never/128/128/33

The sim info.simply states: "Modification of Aesop's fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf."

When I first entered the sim the large plateau topped hilly landscape with plenty of smooth boulders and flowers all around greeted me under a darkened rolling sky that was laced with lighter contrasts and some streaks of reds. I cammed around to see a huge wolf with ratlike face and ears and beady eyes, who was chasing a herd of sheep.  Of course I clicked... and rode that rangy beast.  I then visited the cottage, had a seat in one of it's two chairs and rested while I cammed some more of the landscape.  There is a giant young girl who appears to be pointing the way to the sheep and wolf for a young boy playing a flute sitting atop a boulder surrounded by white flowers. I could hear his flute in the sim music intermixed with springy bouncy sounds.  I had to wonder if perhaps he was the pied piper but then I got confused wondering if the girl was trying to show the piper where the beady eyed wolf was, so that he might pipe the wolf away from the sheep he was chasing. I mean if he is a rat wolf it's possible that piper could lead him out with his pipe and save the day!:! Right? .. But my imagination might have run away from me and mixed up the stories.  Anyway, the sim is super cool.  Cica always does a great job with lighting and sounds and making huge awesome things, some of which can be clicked on for poses, seating, dancing, and riding.  I always enjoy Cica's builds a lot, and Cica does a great job of putting out plenty of things for SL residents to see and enjoy.  This creation come just on the tail of the last, Daydreams, which I blogged here: https://karasecondlife.blogspot.com/2018/08/daydream-by-cica-ghost-lose-yourself-in.html   Be sure to tip Cica's tip jars if you can, so we can continue to get great builds like this to enjoy. Cica also has a store where you can tp and buy some fun past creations.  And don't forget to look up, as there are some fun things atop those plateau's you can click on and enjoy too.

St. Martin, Kekeland Bardeco

Visit St. Martin Kekeland Bardeco here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Saint%20Martin/128/128/212

This sim seems to be owned by Belle des Champs (Bridget.genna) built by Dandy Warhlol (terry Fotherington)

The sim info. states:
"We tried to recreate a quiet, sunny and peaceful fishermen place, inspired from a Italian village.
You will find a little harbor in a colored village and hillsides of vines, campain and mountain.
[If you need to rez, you must join Kekeland group]. Thanks"

This is a great sim to explore and hang out in, just be sure to get all the way around as there are lots of cool places to see and potentially miss. You can enjoy Italian streets and buildings, a more run down trailer park area, the beach, and some ruins.  There are plenty of pose or play spots and lots of seating to hang out with friends. Overall this is a very beautiful place to visit.

Yankari Island, Sea Monsters, A Great exploration Sim with Art by Citta Wiskee

Visit Yankari Island, Sea Monsters here:   http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Yankari%20Island/150/60/23

The sim info. states:
"Photo and installation art exhibition of Citta Wiskee
Sept 1st - Sept 30th 2018
http://www.flickr.com/photos/wiskee
http://www.soundcloud.com/cittatosh
http://www.instagram/cit.ta"

At first glance this sim appears to be filled primarily with huge whales both in the water and sky, and water drop spirits frolicking in the woods on heart shaped islands surrounding a mainland, but after some good exploring, I then found some delightful art images under water. There are beluga whales and rays swimming around in the art area.  The large underwater images are by Citta Wiskee and they are in a very creative setting. Thanks to my friend Shakespeare for this sim tip.  Another fantastic explore today that includes huge air whales you can sit and pose on and pianos.. both things I like to see in SL. Great sim well worth the visit!

Eclectica, A New Dawn

Visit Eclectica, A New Dawn, at Kymer a moderate rated sim here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kymor/128/128/29

This beautiful sim appears to be owned by Maddy (nibbyriddler). There are plenty of photogenic scenic and visiting or cuddle spots.  There are some unique pose and play places such as the giant air whale out over the ocean, the steampunk hand holding the falling teacup carousal, the awesome submarine home, various pagodas, the moon statue, the beautiful footbridge, and more. I last blogged this sim by this same owner back in 2015 but it was completely different then.  I loved it then and I love it now.  This is a very good explore sim, check it out.  More pics on Flickr if you click on one of the imagges.

Green Story and Duet, Two beautiful Sims to Explore

Tonight I visited two very romantic beautiful and relaxing sims.

Visit Green Story by Dior Rich.Canis here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Green%20story/128/128/2

The sim info. states: "You have to relax here.
                         You have to think here.
                You Banks here Another memory."
True.  I landed on a lighted boardwalk in a dark rainy sim to a background of soft music.  There are many beautiful pose and relax spots for singles, couples or friends.  Then I went to the lower level and it too has romantic scenic vignette seating/photo areas but it's all in white snowy beachy winter style. The land build is on so people can rez, although a few people have left Lumipro photo balls and a few boxes behind already.

The next sim I visited that is also very beautiful, relaxing, and romantic is Duet, which you can visit here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Serena%20Windhaven/128/128/20
This sim appears to be owned by JK Creations and is a remodel.  The sim info. states: "Set Home and rez here! Welcome - enjoy our photographic scenes, props & poses! Come for the space ride, cloud dance with ad free radio, tai chi, romance & date in our woods, meadows, castle, beach. No sex or nudity." So, again, you can rez in this sim and if you join their group for just $30 you have access to another space in the sky called "Sky Duet" where you ascend some magical stairs that appear and come to some golden gates beyond which you can dance in the clouds.  I was alone in my explore but this looked super romantic. There is a sim boat ride as well as some pose boats and inside the mountain there is a huge photo place with props and backgrounds and other romantic spots under the mountain. It also has a nice art gallery and some products for sale.  I even found a little grunge area. But be sure not to miss the sim boat ride and the fun things in the mountain. Enjoy.
