Now decorated for winter.  I've blogged this wonderful place before and it truly does feel magical.  Great for photos, exploring and hanging out with friends as there are many great pose spots and things to do such as horseback riding or skating in the magical scenery.

The Arpeggio Opening Night

One of my all time fav SL singers,  Toxie, Toxic Darkmatter has opened her own venue, The Arpeggio, at Forty Thieves Hideaway.  Toxie is well known not only for her beautiful voice, but also for her design and decorating skills;  She's designed sims for other venues previously but now she's opened up her own new space for live music events and her opening night tonight was a huge success with Erik Kottzen singing at 9 SLT followed by Gibson at 10.  The venue is a beautiful ruins filled area with all the romantic lighting, plenty of cool pose spots, the super cool stage area with huge skull backdrop in the ruins of a theater setting, lots of well designed nature areas fun for hanging out, music shows, exploring and photography.  I'm glad I hit this special opening night that was a huge success with a large crowd of lots of fun people.  I look forward to future shows here.  There is already a Flickr group for people to post their fav pics of the area or music event.  You can post the pics here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/toxies-arpeggio/

I got a tip from Milky (Selena.twig) about this beautiful sim.  The ground is absolutely beautifully landscaped winter sime and the riding roads/track winds it's way through the sky.  My pics are of the ground area.  Beautiful job sim owner, Cat (Cat666Kat666)

This is a gorgeous winter sim with The Arctic Express, great for skating, exploring and photography.  Be sure to get inside the train for some great detailed design that really are super cool

This cool winter sim has shopping (for a good cause) art, and landscaping to explore.  If you want your Christmas pics on Santa's lap, there is a spot for you to pose.

Nouvelles Aventures is an adorable photogenic homestead by Adalynne Celeste Reed (AdalynneReed). This place is well deserving of hitting all the blogs it has lately plus it's on the SL Destination guide.The beautiful scenery is great to pose in, dance in , and hang out in. My friend Kathy Nikolaidis pointed this sim out to me some time ago when it was new. I've been enjoying it a few times and am finally getting around to blogging it. Be sure to go inside the buildings too as they are well decorated. The sim is very worth visiting and is just gorgeous. I went over with Cash and took a few pictures to show here.

This is a beautiful romantic photogenic sim with plenty of pose/cuddle spots and scenic vignettes. There are beautiful beach areas, a pose store, forest areas, glowing romantic areas filled with special lighting and magical animals, ruins, fantasy, well just go check it out for yourself if you like.  It's well worth the trip.

LEA 14 Wish You Were Here

Be sure to visit this sim I've put together before it has to be packed up the end of the month.  The idea follows Mitch and Amy, travelers who meet in an airport, hit it off and decide to send each other postcards of their travels.  Later they each are back home and want to continue a relationship so enter Second Life where they continue to explore places from around the world and finally also visit not possible in RL fantasy areas all while growing in their relationship and knowledge of worldwide places. 

The sim also has real life art /photographs from around the world by Second Life residents in postcard format with a little info about the location and the contributors name.  You might recognize pictures from some of your friends or see places near where you live.  The photography is located inside the large airplane galleries. You may also visits vignettes representative of places around the world to hang out and engage in activities, poses, games, etc with old friends or meet some new ones.  There are several sky locations including the not possible in real life fantasy area that is 2 level including a sound garden in the lower level.  Inside the airport you will find more information and direct teleport doors for ease of movement around the sim and sky.  Special thanks to:

Also while in the sim besides the many poses and things to do and play on, there are smaller postcards located in various places throughout the sim of some of my other fav SL sims with direct LMs to click and take for further SL exploring. There are many games like greedy, bowling, cards against humanity etc in the upper level of the airport for anyone to enjoy, lovely hangout areas in the woods with tv and lounging and camping, helicopter and hot air rides, a mile high club with certification giver etc. all for free for all to enjoy.  Be sure to stop by and enjoy before this sim changes out next month.
